Power Machines wins subsidy for large gas turbine development

MOSCOW, Dec 13 (PRIME) -- Power engineering company Power Machines of businessman Alexei Mordashov has won a state subsidy to develop high-capacity gas turbines, as seen by PRIME in a document on the Industry and Trade Ministry’s website on Friday.

“The auction commission has decided to announce Power Machines as the winner,” the document reads.

Russia currently does not produce gas turbines with a capacity of 110 megawatts and more. In March, the government made decisions for creation of production of large gas turbines in Russia, with 7 billion rubles of budget financing for 2019–2021.
